Sam Napp

Partner, American Leisure Properties

Sam Napp is responsible for leading the firm’s investment and financial strategy, guiding long-term growth and performance. His expertise spans principal real estate investing, development and investment banking and capital markets.

Prior to forming American Leisure Properties, Sam worked for Montgomery Street Partners (“MSP”), a Dallas-based private investment firm, for approximately two years and led the firm’s marina investment strategy. While at MSP, Sam’s responsibilities included investment sourcing, underwriting, obtaining debt, contract negotiations, due diligence and asset management. Prior to joining MSP, he worked in the Real Estate Investment Banking Group at BMO Capital Markets (“BMO”). While at BMO, Sam executed mergers and acquisitions and capital markets transactions for private equity and public REIT clients across traditional and niche property types. Sam began his career with KeyBanc Capital Markets in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group in New York.

Sam received a BA in economics from the University of Southern California.
